Del Mar, CA - Monday, April 21, 2014 - West Palms Events announces our partnership with Blenheim EquiSports to host the iJump Team Challenge, Presented by Bruno Delgrange. This exciting Nations Cup-style event will be held at select West Palms Events and Blenheim EquiSports shows from June to October, with the Final being held at the Last Vegas National Horse Show in November. Show Director for West Palms Events, Dale Harvey, shared, "This new team event and partnership with Blenheim EquiSports will mark the inaugural iJump Team Challenge. It will be an exciting concept for both competitors and spectators, and we're looking forward to being a part of it."
The iJump Team Challenge, Presented by Bruno Delgrange
This competition is a two round Nations Cup style team event. Each team of three will be comprised of a horse/rider combination competing at their respective heights of 1.10m, 1.20m, and 1.30m. The first round will be held over a course of 10-14 obstacles including a triple combination or two doubles under USEF Table II. Each horse/rider from the respective teams will compete in the first round, starting with the 1.10m heights followed by the 1.20m and 1.30m. The 1.30m rider will act as the anchor and Team Captain.
The rider competing at the 1.30m height may be a professional and that rider will establish their team for the 2014 season. Once a rider has competed in this event at the 1.30m height, they may not compete at any other height.
Each rider competing at the 1.30m level will constitute a team for the 2014 season. The team members may change and be substituted at the discretion of the team captain. The top (8) teams from the 2014 season will be invited to compete at the Final at the Las Vegas National Horse Show in November.
The winning team captain will receive a Bruno Delgrange saddle at the Final in Las Vegas!
