Summer Arts Apprentice Program
2017 Application
The West Valley Arts Council is now accepting applications for the 2017 Gallery 37 program! Don't spend those summer days lounging around the house! Get creative and get paid to create art! Gallery 37 is a youth arts employment program that pairs students ages 15 to 18yrs old with professional artists in order to design, develop and install a permanent piece of public art for display in the West Valley. An expert team of master artists lead the six-week program and provide all necessary training and support in each phase of the project.

You can nominate your favorites pieces from our library of Grammy Award-winning recordings, new choral compositions or the classical giants.

Public Art Bus Tour
April 22nd | 1 - 4:30pm
Join us for a free bus trip to the Desert Caballeros Museum in Wickenburg to see the Cowgirl Up show and then back to WHAM in Surprise for the Recycled Art and Fashion Show.
The bus is free. Entry into the Desert Caballeros Western Museum is $9.00 per person.
The show at WHAM is free. The bus will leave from the Post Office ( 14955 W Bell Rd, Surprise, AZ 85374) next door to WHAM and you can park in the lot behind the Post office. We will be boarding the bus by 1PM and be returning by 4:30 PM.
