Exclusive Whale Watch for  W2O Members on Oct. 5th

Boston Harbor Cruises is generously offering W2O members a limited number of complimentary  seats on board their whale watch to the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary. Come see these majestic mammals that live off our coast and  learn about what threatens them and what we can do to protect them. NOAA Scientist Leila Hatch will be on hand to educate us about these glorious creatures. Our  voyage will take place on Thursday October 5th leaving at noon from the New England Aquarium.

Latest News on our National Monuments in the Ocean

We await news from the White House about the fate of New England's own Northeast Canyons and Seamounts. 

This Monument protects vulnerable deep-sea coral gardens and diverse marine mammals. Thank you to W2O members who joined with more than nearly a million and a half other letter writers to voice their support to preserve this area from all commercial extraction including commercial fishing.
