Disney Inspiration!

 We are excited to announce that Painting with a Twist is partnering with Disney again!  

We're hosting both "Bambi" and "Beauty and the Beast" painting events in early June! These paintings are inspired by a scene in each of the classic movies. If you are a Disney fan as much as we are, make sure to SIGN UP EARLY! These events are filling up quickly!

Spotlight Artist of the Month! 

 

LYNNE

Lynne has been doodling and drawing since early childhood and began painting in her early teens. Her parents noted she was a photo realist from an early age, drawing road signs and scenery on trips in the car when she was little. She has gone on to become a Pet Portrait Artist, working primarily in pastels. Lynne is celebrating her 3 year anniversary with Painting with a Twist! She quotes, "Time flies when you are having a blast doing what you love!"  She first started at the Trinity studio, but spent most of her PWAT career teaching at Carrollwood. Now you can find her at our Wesley Chapel location Thursday-Saturday and for our monthly Paint Your Pet class! 

So we asked Lynne what her favorite PWAT painting is to teach? And the winner is... Van Gogh's Cafe. She explains, "It's so challenging, yet rewarding to see the end result! People are so nervous at the beginning, but by the end of the 3 hours, you can literally see their self confidence grow!" Her most memorable class was teaching the first Vera Bradley Painting with a Purpose FUNdraising event three years ago! She realized how the magic of art inspires the community and brings everyone together to make a difference! Her favorite hobbies outside of work are spending time with her loved ones, riding on bike trails, and going to concerts. Her kids are now grown and as en empty-nester, she is always up for a new adventure!
