What Remains of May '68 in France Today?

Mass protest overtook France in May and June of 1968. Those events were sparked by a student rebellion that originated in Paris, but quickly spread across the nation. Factory and office workers alike took to the streets to build France's largest social movement of the 20th century.

Tomorrow, May 31 at 7 pm, we are delighted to welcome Macalester professor Joëlle Vitiello for What Remains of May '68 in France Today? Through images and film, Vitiello will explore the protests that have had a lasting impact.
