Today: Support Public Land and Workforce Development!
The proposed federal budget released today includes cuts that will create challenges around issues that Tree Trust has worked 40 years to support in our Twin Cities community. Support our work, our environment, and our youth by letting your members of Congress know how your community would be affected by the president's proposed budget.

What Trees Do for Us
Here are some of the benefits you'll add to the community and your own yard if you plant a tree this year. The three species we've listed below are just a few options for sale this year in our Minneapolis Tree Lottery.
*Benefits calculated for a well developed tree with a 15" trunk diameter. The larger your tree grows, the greater the benefits.

Planting new trees is especially important as the Twin Cities begins losing thousands of trees each year to EAB.  If you'd like to see the benefits you gain by the trees already in your yard, check out the Tree Benefits Calculator.
Check out all of the tree species we have for sale, and register for the lottery by March 20th!
What We Can Do For Trees
Do you wish your local park or bikepath had more shade or less soggy grounds? Wondering what you can do to help counter all the cut-down trees you're seeing in your neighborhood? Looking to brush up on your skills before you plant a tree in your own yard? Volunteer at a Tree Trust planting or distribution this spring!

Our dedicated staff does all the planning and brings all the tools. You get to spend the day outside with friends and neighbors, improving our environment!
