Volunteer Committee Opportunities
 
Design Review Committee: The District is recruiting volunteers for the Design Review Committee (DRC). The DRC oversees more than 40 villages for exterior property improvement projects and new home development. DRC members are appointed by the EDHCSD Board of Directors and must be residents and/or property owners living in El Dorado Hills. CC&Rs Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC): Looking for a way to get involved in your Village? The District is always recruiting volunteers for the Citizens Advisory Committee.
A list of current Village vacancies can be found on the District's website: 
http://eldoradohillscsd.org/resident-services/cc-rs.html. If no vacancy is available for your Village, please apply and your name will be placed on a waiting list until an opening becomes available. Call 916-614-3201 with any questions.

KydZonE & Teen Center News

KydZonE and the Teen Center are open early for the Rescue USD Parent Teacher Conferences 11/13-11/17. The Teen Center will be CLOSED November 20-24 for Thanksgiving Break and KydZonE will be open for drop-in hourly programming from 7am-6pm Mon.11/20-Wed.11/22. Please call 916.933.6624 to make sure your child's account is up to date. 


KydZonE's Pre-Thanksgiving Feast at John's Incredible Pizza Company
Tuesday, November 21, 10:30am - 4pm
Just because summer is over doesn't mean we won't continue the awesome field trips into the school year. Staff will transport children to and from field trip destinations in CSD vehicles.  Participants will get a Fun Card with 20 Fun World Credits, a tour of John's Incredible Pizza Company and unlimited pizza/salad bar. Fee is $35.  Be sure to register early... space is limited!   Registration Information.

Cheese Cake 101
Wednesday, November 1, 4pm at the Gilmore Center

Learn to make cheesecake from start to finish including cooking do's and don'ts. Learn about different crusts and take home lots of recipes. Cheesecake tasting included. Fee is $15. Reservations are required. Please call the Gilmore Center to pay the fee and reserve your spot 916.358.3575.

A festive night of world class blues, dancing, local craft brews, wines, food and more to honor and celebrate our Veterans, Active Service, and Fallen Warriors. Night at the Library - Library Fundraiser

This exciting, Great Gatsby-themed event will feature: 

 

Popular DJ John Bosch acting as emcee, Live music by 
The Jazz Report and Bob Rawleigh, The Ultimate Crooner, 
Food and wine samples from the best local restaurants and wineries, Silent auction and raffles, Attire inspired by the 1920's era is encouraged but not at all required. There will be a prize for best dressed!


Through this event, the nonprofit, volunteer-run El Dorado Hills Friends of the Library typically raises nearly $20,000 of direct support to essential programs and materials purchases for the El Dorado Hills library.   View our Press Release

Tickets, which include a complimentary wine glass, are $40 advance/$45 at the door. You can purchase tickets at the El Dorado Hills Library (7455 Silva Valley Parkway, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762), at the California Welcome Center in Town Center (2085 Vine Street, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762), or  online.

4th Annual Christmas Caroling Contest
Saturday, December 2, 4-8pm, Town Center

The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting will take place in Town Center on December 2nd in partnership with the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce and El Dorado Hills Community Service District.  Again this year, the event will feature a Christmas Caroling Contest as part of the entertainment, with winners to perform live onstage. Groups of all ages are asked to submit entries via YouTube or personal video to  marketing@tcmgroupinc.com  between October 16th and November 17th. The song must be a recognizable holiday carol with a length of no more than 5 minutes. Groups should have between 1 and 12 performers. Winners will be announced on November 21st.

Cookies With Santa!
Friday, December 8, 4-6pm
Held at the EDH CSD Gym

Come visit SANTA CLAUS! He will be making a special
appearance to celebrate the holiday season. Santa's helpers will be serving cookies and hot chocolate. 
Pre-registration fee is $5 per person (under 24 months free)
Day of event fee is $10 if space is available.

Start the yuletide season off with a festive morning of holiday cheer. Event includes: breakfast, visit with Santa and holiday craft. Space is limited, please pre-register! Two seatings available - 8am and 10am.
