DALLAS UNITARIAN   |  August 11, 2017

THIS SUNDAY @ FIRST UNITARIAN
Join us in worship (10:00 & 11:30 am) for sabbatical minister D. Scoot Cooper's sermon, "What am I supposed to do with my life?" with marimba music provided by soprano Carelle Flores.

Our Inquirers' Class for newcomers (11:30 in the Parlor) will focus on social action and community service.

UU Elevator Speech begins at 10:00am in Room 301. More HERE

Haven’t had the chance to talk with us about the Love First campaign? Join other UUs at an upcoming Breakfast with Rev. White or at a House Party hosted by church members. Stop by the table in Channing to learn more, RSVP, or email [email protected].

Young Adults will gather for fellowship and brunch at Ozona's Grill.  Meet on Preston Patio after the second service and we'll head there together.

Do you have a son going into grades 1–4? Our church’s Cub Scout Pack is inclusive, educational, fun, and encourages UU values! Stop by the Pack’s table in Channing to visit with the adult leaders and learn more.

We are seeking leaders for 2018 to serve on the church's Board, Endowment Fund, and Nominating Committee. Visit the Welcome Center to learn more.

PARKING: The  YMCA parking garage is open for church-goers. Please remember to leave spaces on Normandy and St. Andrews for senior and mobility-impaired members.

You can contribute or make a donation anytime by Text. Just text DALLASUU and the amount to 73256, then follow the link to complete your gift. More HERE.
MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE!

Both youth and adult choirs will soon begin singing again and we’d like to invite you or your children to join! Talk to current members and they’ll tell you that the fun and satisfaction of joining our voices together in song is a very rewarding experience.

OUR CARING COMMUNITY

We hold Janine Smart in our prayers as she grieves the death of her mother-in-law, Marjorie Smart, who died last week.
