Antlions - What you need to know
Antlions are common, conspicuous insects in Florida. Florida has the richest antlion fauna in the eastern United States with 22 species in nine genera. 

Four species are found only in the Keys.  Most people know this insect because of the funnel-shaped pit, up to 2 inches in diameter and depth, produced by the larval stages of this insect to trap ants.

White Footed Ants - What Now?
The White Foot ants are originally native to tropical Asia.  They were inadvertently introduced into the United States in 1986 around the Homestead Florida area.  

They were brought into this country through landscaping foliage and have expanded into several counties throughout the state. 
German Cockroach - Southwest Florida Facts 
The German cockroach is most commonly encountered in much of the U.S. and in Southwest Florida.  

Only a few of the cockroaches in the U.S. routinely enter our dwellings. The most common of these are the German, American, Brown Banded, and the Australian Roaches.
