Bread of Life
Rev. Karin Hejmanowski, preaching
Greetings!

It’s amazing to think that it’s time for our kids to be heading back to school. They’ve been part of Vacation Bible School, some of our high schoolers have gone on CARAVAN, our younger ones have been in summer church school, and now school days are almost here again.

As we head back into a new school year, it’s a natural time for many to think about where they belong and of what they are a part. I am so grateful that we are in community together. As we head toward a new year, let’s not take that for granted, but be grateful for one another. This week at church, consider going out of your way to greet someone you don’t know or reacquaint yourself with someone.

I look forward to seeing you, including our kids, at any of our worship services.

Peace,
Karin

Questions for Reflection

  • What do you think is important for membership in the Christian Church?
  • What does it mean to trust in Jesus?

John 6:35, 41-51

Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. Then the Jews began to complain about him because he said, "I am the bread that came down from heaven."
