Children of the resurrection
In Luke 20:36, we are called "children of the resurrection." Is this a reference to a future event, a resurrection of our spiritual selves, or might it have implications for our lives in the here and now? Download our free resource, " Resurrection: A Holy Discipline."

Leading, singing and learning
Several women wrote to tell us how they celebrated Bold Women's Day on Feb. 25, 2017. Bold Women's Day ---   observed annually on the fourth Sunday of February ---   celebrates all Lutheran women who act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ.  What did you do on Bold Women's Day? Answer in the comments section of the article.

Human trafficking exhibit focus again

Women of the ELCA will be part of the interactive exhibit area at the ELCA Youth Gathering in Houston in June. Because of a resolution to end human trafficking approved at our Tenth Triennial Convention (2017) last summer, we are again inviting youth to be part of a service project that helps organizations in the area serve victims of trafficking. Here's how you can help.
Tripling our life-changing ministry
Last fall, your churchwide board approved an exciting new initiative --- The All Anew Campaign for Katie's Fund ---  with the goal of tripling our endowed Katie's Fund by the 2020 Triennial Convention and Gathering. How can you get involved?

Faith, immigration and refugees

Katie's Fund recently made a grant in support of Diva Communications' new two-part documentary, " Brightness of Noon: The Intersect of Faith, Immigration and Refugees." The producer, Debra Gonsher Vinik, has consulted with Women of the ELCA often over the years and spoke at our Triennial Gathering in 2016. This new documentary explores the response of people of faith to the crisis at our borders.
