Making the choice to worship.
Making the choice to remind myself of truth.
But still struggling.
That's when the song I was listening to ended and the next one began:
Let the King of my heart be the Mountain where I run, the Fountain I drink from.
The Fountain I drink from...
And the thought hit me:
What fountain am I drinking from?
And I had to laugh.
God is so gracious!
He is so kind!
One simple phrase, in one simple song, and He puts me back on track.
No guilt.
No shame.
Just a simple question:
What fountain are you drinking from?
Because any other fountain, besides the Fountain of Living Water, Jesus Himself, leaves me high and dry.
Or low and dry.
Low on love.
Low on grace.
Low on joy.
And so today, I encourage us!
If you're drinking solely from the Fountain of Living Water - keep on!
Drink in His presence.
Drink in His peace.
Drink in Him.
And if you're drinking from any other fountain, simply turn.
Turn to Him.
He's right there.
Arms outstretched.
Offering you a drink.
A drink of Living Water.
His Living Water.
His Living Water that refreshes. His
Living Water that cleanses. His
Living Water that brings new life.
