HUMANE HAPPENNINGS

These eight local humane supporters have agreed to be thrown "In the Doghouse" on April 15th.  Just a few days left to donate toward the IMPOUND FEES of one of these wonderful CEO's and company leaders.  Help them help us provide the medical and day-to-day care our animals need.

Our 23rd annual Strut Your Mutt is the one of the only dog friendly walks in the area.  Join us on June 4 to promote awareness, create memories, and raise funds for over 2500 animals the DRHS and cares for each year. Strut Your Mutt will be held at Murphy Park.

(You do not need to bring your pet to participate).

Kids entering second through sixth grades can spend their summer afternoons learning all about animals, participating in activities and seeing demonstrations by local experts.  Campers make friends, have fun with arts and crafts and have hands on time with animals at the DRHS.

DRHS | BY THE NUMBERS

Ah-Ah-Achoo!

Like us, pets can be allergic to foods, dust, plants and pollens.  Allergic reactions in dogs and cats can cause itching, minor sniffling and sneezing, or even life-threatening anaphylactic shock to insect bites and stings.  If you suspect your pet has a springtime allergy, please visit your veterinarian as soon as possible.

Your giving will go further. The full amount of your gift will go directly to our organization and will help us to qualify for additional prize dollars. It's FUN! Great Give Day brings our community together to celebrate and support local nonprofits.

Please consider donating on May 3 when your gift can go further with matching dollar contributions, additional money for most donors in the hour, and golden ticket hours.
