Interstate 69 Ceremony
Gov. Steve Beshear visited western Kentucky on November 16 to celebrate the official dedication of a 42.6 mile section of Interstate 69. The new I-69 corridor follows the Pennyrile Parkway from Madisonville to Henderson.

MCRWC Groundbreaking
The McLean County Regional Water Commission hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for its much-anticipated centralized water plant on October 29. The new $10 million facility will process 2 million gallons of drinking water daily.

47th Annual Dinner

Feed Seniors Now
Volunteers from GRADD, Independence Bank and Comfort Keepers delivered groceries to more than 360 low-income seniors across Daviess, Hancock and McLean counties on Oct. 7, as part of the 5th annual Feed Seniors Now food drive.

2014 Crash Report
The GRADD transportation team has released the 2014 traffic collision report for Owensboro and Daviess County. The report analyzes 4,217 vehicle accidents that were cited by local law enforcement agencies last year.

Henderson DRA Grant
The City of Henderson was recently awarded a $200,000 Delta Regional Authority grant to upgrade technology in its 911 center, which serves the citizens of Henderson, Union and Webster counties.

Sister Region Visit
A delegation from GRADD's Sister Region, Olomouck√Ĺ Kraj, Czech Republic, visited our area September 10-17 to tour local industries and to participate in an International Economic Summit and the 47th GRADD Annual Dinner.

GRADD received a 2015 NADO Innovation Award for the region's senior nutrition initiatives during the National Association of Development Organizations Annual Training Conference in New Orleans, held October 24-27.
