Qualified candidates will:
Prepare federal and multi-state corporate, partnership, fiduciary, non-profit and individual tax returns
Initiate and present effective tax and business planning strategies for our diverse range of clients
Perform client accounting and financial sta...tement Compilation and Review engagements
Have the communication skills, personality and drive to build existing client relationships as well as seek new clients

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA or CPA track required
Minimum of 2 years public accounting experience preferred
Possesses a high level of proficiency with QuickBooks software
Knowledge of Thomson Reuters tax, accounting and research software a plus
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing new technologies in a high tech work environment
Manages time effectively and prioritizes multiple tasks to meet deadlines
Possesses a high degree of organizational skills and independence

PENNSVILLE, NJ (August 13, 2014) - Century Savings Bank recently donated five computers to the Salem County Center for Autism. On August 5, 2014, representatives of the Bank presented the donation to Debra S. Behnke, Executive Director of the organization, in support of their occupational and developmental service initiatives. With the aid of the additional computers, the Center will be better able to meet the needs of those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) throughout South Jersey.

Market Street Day in Salem - Aug. 23

 


Just a reminder the 40th Market Street Day, sponsored by the Salem Committee, Inc. will be held on August 23rd from 10am - 4pm. Music in the park under the tent from 10am -3pm. Antique and hot rod car show awards at 3pm. Crafts, local Artisans, food venders and lots of informational booths. Hope to see you all there!

Tickets to the event are $5 for Chamber Members, $10 for prospective Members. Because this event always sells out with a waiting list, we are changing the room set up.  We can now hold up to 200 people for the event!

 

Breakfast will again be sponsored by Atlantic City Electric and prepared by the Chef at Ranch Hope, Inc.

 

The Chamber's Government Relations Committee developed Key Issues that will be included in the Congressman's presentation.

October 9 is the Meet the Candidates Forum and Business Expo held at Salem Community College's Davidow Hall Auditorium from 6pm - 8:30 pm. 

 

This event is presented by The Salem County Chamber of Commerce for all voters and residents in Salem County.  Admission is free, everyone is invited and welcome to attend.

 

Join us as the Candidates for Freeholder, US House of Representatives, US Senate and Salem County Clerk present their platforms. This is not a debate, each candidate will have time to tell us why they are the best choice for office.

Big Brothers Big Sisters Hold Car Raffle 10/12/14

            

            Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cumberland & Salem Counties will host their annual Car Raffle on October 12th at the Harvest Festival in Rosenhayn, NJ. On the day of the event, Big Brothers Big Sisters will pick the name of a lucky winner and it could be you! The winner of the raffle will have their choice of a 2014 Chevy Camaro 2LT Convertible, a 2014 Cadillac SRX, a 2014 Dodge Ram, a pair of 2015 Harley Davidson Motorcycles, a pair of 2014 Jeep Patriots, a pair of 2014 Chevy Sparks, a 2014 Buick Lacrosse or mix it up!
