Folsom Street Events Selects CCC as a 2016 Beneficiary
Castro Country Club is happy to announce that Folsom Street Events has selected us as one of their 2016 Beneficiaries!

Each Year Folsom Street Events produces four of the most popular events on the San Francisco Calendar: Folsom Street Fair, Up Your Alley (Dore Alley Fair), Bay of Pigs and Magnitude.

Proceeds from these events go to support various charitable and non-profit agencies in our community.  We are excited to be one of those beneficiaries for the third year in a row!

Included in our partnership with FSE, the Castro Country Club commits to providing volunteers for each of their events.  Sign up now to help out!

Dear Community,

We are pleased to announce that the Castro Country Club is on the hunt for a new Executive Director. We're seeking a visionary and dynamic individual to join and lead a great
team as we fulfill the critical mission of the Castro Country Club.

For over 33 years the Castro Country Club has effectively served a crucial roll in the LGBTQ community. Most
recently, we want to honor and appreciate the contributions of our amazing staff Louis Cullen and Billy Lemon, our large and diverse volunteer team, the CCC Advisory Board, and of
course the wonderful community that we serve. You all are amazing!

As we roll through this time of transition, you can continue to expect the same commitment and dedication to our community. Watch us as we grow and spread our wings.

CCC Volunteer of the Month:
 Megan Rose Dickey
We would like to introduce you to Volunteer of the Month for June.
Megan Rose Dickey

Megan has been a bright shiny gem of an addition to the Castro Country Club.
She brings culture, class and commitment to excellence
with her.  Here are her words

"Sobriety has been full of ups and downs, but the Castro Country Club is the one thing that has remained consistent and stable in my recovery. Volunteering at "Da Club", as I like to call it, keeps me connected with my peers in the San Francisco recovery community and requires me to put whatever is going on in my life aside for at least few hours a week in order to be of service to others. I've said this before, and I'll say it again: volunteering at the CCC has been key to my ongoing recovery. "   -Megan R. Dickey
