Fall Sermon Series:
The Storyteller
Sept. 9-Oct. 14

Since the first storytellers passed down tradition and myth from one generation to the next, humankind has relied on stories to lend meaning to our lives. Biblical legends, folklore, even the silver screen have all found ways to clothe divine realities in human narratives. For six weeks, beginning on September 9, we will be exploring stories of love and fear, creation and devastation, and the heroes that mirror our own journey. And we'll listen for the voice of God, who weaves the greatest story ever told.
LGBTQ Community Members:
OASIS is our new connection group for the local LGBTQ community on issues of faith. Begins Oct. 7th.

Hosted by FCCGE, we will meet for four weeks on Sunday evenings at 6:30 pm starting October 7, 2018. Discussions will be facilitated by Pam Trice, PsyD who is a professional counselor and a member of the LGBTQ community.
WHO: Members of the LGBTQ community WHAT: Foster connection around faith issues WHEN: 6:30-8:00pm on Sunday evenings (Four sessions Oct 7th-Oct. 28th )

Each church on the Board is assigned a month to collect food and money for the Pantry, and September is the month for FCCGE! There is a white bin in the Main Lobby for food collection (please, do not leave expired or open food). A list of most needed items, donation envelopes, and a brochure with fun facts about the Pantry will be available on Rally Day, September 9. More information may be found on the Pantry website.
