Sprichst du eine andere Sprache?

Next Sunday, on Pentecost, we celebrate the birth of the church as God's Holy Spirit moved among early believes and made their many languages understandable by all-reflecting that, as we celebrate our differences, we also are united by the love of God.  This Pentecost we need YOU to help with a Pentecost-inspired Lord's Prayer, filled with many languages.  If you speak another language and are interested in helping, please reach out to Pastor Kendra  by next Wednesday, May 16.

How Can I Connect with Others?
Sacred Conversations on Race(ism)
Exploring our White Privilege

As we live into an increasingly broken and fractured world we look to understand it all- the pain- the violence- and we hear God's call to "love one another." In the wake of police violence, Charlottesville and so much more we are forced to ask questions- what is our role- where do we hear cries for justice- what can we do?

This will be a great opportunity to update existing pictures and info and add all the beautiful souls that have joined since our last directory. In addition to a traditional paper directory (in a new convenient  size) we will also have a mobile directory  available  to everyone! Welcome to the 2000s ;-) Wanna see what the mobile directory will be like?  Click here !

Visual Arts Ministry
Main Gallery
The Works of Gregory Deddo

A new exhibit, installed on April 28, features paintings by Gregory Deddo, Studio Associate and Gallery Manager at Wheaton College . His work explores themes of human relationships, family history, and memory. For him, the act of painting is an extension of his understanding of love and relationships, an attempt to see and know another person as truly as possible. See his work and read his complete artist's statement in the gallery.
Artist in Residence Gallery
Featuring Ed Kolar

This is your last chance to see Ed Kolar's delightful paintings, two of which feature members of FCCGE! His show comes down on Tuesday, the 15th. Up next in the gallery will be the beautiful quilt work of Jan Rajeck. (The Artists in Residence Gallery is on the lower level, in the hallway adjacent to the Parlor - get there via the stairs from the library or the elevator to the lower level).
