A Message From Your President
Dear NESHS Colleagues,

I hope your 2016 is off to a great start. As we enter a new year, NESHS is launching a strategic planning process, in the same way that our institutions are challenged to look ahead and adapt to the emerging landscape, organizations such as NESHS must be equally forward looking and adaptable.

I recently attended a webinar focused on establishing and sustaining market relevance. Although I was sitting in my office with my work hat on, I quickly realized how applicable this issue is to NESHS. How does NESHS remain the organization of choice for healthcare professionals involved in strategic planning, business development and network relations? How do we ensure our programs support our members' professional advancement? How do we continue to attract new and retain existing members? In other words, how do we remain relevant?

I look forward to tackling these questions (and more) with the NESHS Board over the next few months. I would also like to extend an invitation to the membership to participate in our planning process. We need your thoughts and suggestions as we develop our plan.  We will solicit your feedback, but if you would like to be more involved, please call me or send me a note. We'll be in touch with updates as our work progresses.

Finally, I hope to see you at our spring conference on May 13, 2016 in Westborough, MA. Stay tuned for details on the program and speakers.

Best,
Susan Fahmy
