Volunteer Spotlight
The Chandler Library's Book Buddy program is a treasured service for many homebound residents in our community.  Library volunteers deliver library books and materials to individuals in our community that can no longer come to the Library due to advance age or illness.  As life-long readers, having the ability to have full access to the library materials is a great gift.  Volunteers visit "their" patrons every two weeks and bring regular, large print or audiobooks, as well as DVDs and magazines.  Serving as a friendly visit and a book delivery service, the Book Buddy program has been an important library service for over two decades.  To learn more about the Library's Homebound Book Buddy program, please click ....
Last month one of the Library's Book Buddy patrons celebrated her 100 year birthday at the care facility she lives at in Chandler.  Roberta, or "Bobbie," turned 100 in November and her volunteer Book Buddy Beth was on hand to help her celebrate. Happy Birthday Bobbie!
