Now in its eighth year, Old Vine Café continues to redefine dining in Orange County offering top quality food and wine in a non-pretentious, casual atmosphere. The award-winning restaurant, run by chef-owner Mark McDonald, serves menu items that reflect a focus on regionalism and the use of seasonal ingredients - a hallmark of Chef Mark's culinary training in southern Italy.

Old Vine Cafe at the CAMP, located in Costa Mesa's SoBeCa District, offers customers a nontraditional retail community in a casual and lively atmosphere. All of the stores here are health conscious or fitness related, with a strong emphasis on an active lifestyle. "Green" is everywhere, from the native vegetation to the progressive and select retailers offering their organic wares in the first-known environmentally sensitive retail campus in the United States.

We hope you will be able to attend this event that will support CAPOC's programs to help strengthen families, alleviate hunger, educate youth, create financial stability, build safe and healthy communities, conserve energy, and support senior independence.

As the holidays quickly approach, Community Action Partnership of Orange County and our OC Food Bank are dedicated to making sure that families impacted by poverty are not left behind. Please join us for our annual Hope for the Holidays campaign and give a gift that counts! The work we do is not alone.

We need your help this holiday season. This time of year can be especially difficult for families struggling to make ends meet. Gifts and holiday meals become secondary to low-income families when bills need to be paid. You can help make the holiday season so much brighter by providing new clothes, toys, holiday food baskets, or gift certificates for a deserving family in need.

As you start to plan for your family's Thanksgiving celebration, please think about all of the families who won't be able to put food on their table this holiday. Unfortunately, the OC Food Bank does not have enough turkeys for those who walk through our doors this Thanksgiving. Everyone deserves to celebrate the season and provide a holiday meal for their family. PLEASE consider making a $20 donation to purchase a turkey for a hungry family... or, buy a 'flock of turkeys' to feed more than one family. We need your help more than ever this holiday season and we are grateful for anything you can provide.

You can help make the holiday season so much brighter by joining the OC Food Bank to provide holiday meals to low-income families. Host a food drive with your fellow employees, congregation, neighborhood, or group of friends. You can host a physical food drive and/or a virtual food drive. A virtual drive allows you and your group to conveniently donate online. Your group can have a personalized website where you can donate from anywhere on any day of the year. This is a great addition to a physical food drive.

El Modena Family Resource Center
Senior Program

Seniors at our El Modena Family Resource Center love partnering with  Bowers Museum  for arts and crafts on Fridays!

This month, participants in our Senior Program, took a trip to the zoo! Some of them had never been to the zoo before and were so excited to spend the day outside, petting animals, and enjoying each others company!
