Assisted Living Week is right around the corner!  We are thrilled to have the opportunity of celebrating this week each year with residents and their families.  This year's theme is "Family is Forever" and we are excited about the family events that will be held (listed below).

We greatly appreciate those who have been bringing in old family pictures and the family tree list.  For those of you who have not yet, it isn't too late.  These items will allow for your loved one to fully participate in all activities during Assisted Living Week!

Family Events:
Sunday, September 10 - Grandparents ROCK!
Happy Grandparents Day!  Bring the grand kids for a drop in from 1:00-4:00 for a fun time painting rocks together.

Monday, September 11 - Disney Extravaganza
5 :30 (Jefferson Place & Monroe Place)
6:30-7:30 (Washington Place & Adams Place)

We look forward to seeing you for Assisted Living Week! Please RSVP to Kelly at 706-364-8710 or [email protected] to allow for adequate supplies.
Life History
We love hearing our residents' stories and learning more about their past through memory sharing and pictures.  Many of our residents still take great pride in their past accomplishments and relationships.
We would like the opportunity to highlight these memories and make a recognizable piece to hang outside each resident's door.  We will provide a collage frame that will hold three 5x7 LANDSCAPE ORIENTED photos or cut outs.
Please see Kelly or Marcus when you are ready to fill a frame for your loved one.

Help Others Find Us!
We need your help!   Since our opening in 2014 what we hear the most from community members in Augusta is that they never knew we were even here! In order to spread the word via the internet we humbly ask that you search for "Madison Heights Evans GA" through Google and leave a positive review of our community. These reviews will help boost our placement to the top of the list and make us easier to find for others that are searching for a Memory Care Community for a friend or loved one. Please look for this pop up below and click on "Write Review" Thanks for your help as we look to spread the word!

To Keep in Mind...
  • If you notice an Associate going above and beyond their normal job duties please notify Christen at [email protected] so that that they can be recognized with a Madison Heights Champion award.
  • We would appreciate your help in making sure that all important documents and bills are being sent to the responsible party, and not Madison Heights.
  • We all work together to keep Madison Heights clean.  When you visit it would be appreciated it you would dispose of cigarette butts somewhere other than on the property grounds.

Why We Work in Senior Housing...
"I love working with seniors because it is a chance to give back to people who spent their lives serving others.  I find that many of our residents spent much of their lives volunteering at churches, nursing homes and hospitals.  I am able to devote my time and energy to people who have shown love to others their whole lives. I love hearing the stories of the past.  It brings me joy to see the excitement on our residents' faces when they reminisce about their childhood, their siblings and their children.  I enjoy hearing the stories of times past including: farm life, walking miles to school and meeting spouses.  I love the excitement residents' show when they participate in activities such as Bingo, picking leaves to use for a craft project or baking cookies in the kitchen.  It is so much fun to see residents partake in activities that bring back memories of their past."

Thank you for entrusting Madison Heights with your loved one as we help you write life's next chapter.
