The release of ArcGIS 10.1 introduced some exciting new additions to the Arcpy site package for ArcGIS Desktop.
In this online course you will update your Python/ArcGIS skills to include these new features.
First, you'll learn how to customize the ArcGIS Desktop interface through the creation of Add-Ins with Python. You'll learn how to create button, tools, toolbars, combo boxes, application extensions, and more.
We'll then discover the improved performance of editing feature classes and tables through the new Arcpy Data Access Module. The new cursors provide with the Arcpy Data Access Module offer dramatically increased performance for adding, updating, and deleting features and rows in tables and feature classes.
Finally, you'll learn how to use the Arcpy Mapping module to automate the creation of map books as well as making programmatic changes to map document and layer files.
