Take Your Child to the Library Day
Saturday, February 3 at 12:00 pm

Families!  Join us on Saturday, February 3 at 12:00 pm in the community room for a day of fun at the Library!  Families with children from three years old to elementary ages are invited to join us for crafts, stories with felt-board, and a viewing of Zootopia!  

Light snacks and refreshments will be served.  Signups for new library cards will follow the movie for anyone who doesn't have a card!  Walk-ins welcome.

Friend's Valentine Mini Golf Fundraiser!
Friday, February, 9 from 6-8:00 pm

Looking for something fun for the kids this Valentines?  Play Mini-Golf IN the Marlboro Library!

This fundraising event hosted by the Friends of the Marlboro Library will take place on Friday, February 9th from 6-8:00 pm (snow date, February 10th, 6-8:00pm).

This Valentine-themed golf course is fun for young and old!  Valentine themed kids crafts, activities and refreshments will be available.  Tickets are $5 per person, per round, and all proceeds to benefit the Library.  Come at any time after 6:00 pm for refreshments and crafts before your tee time!

Busy that day? Consider buying tickets that will be donated to another family!  Tickets are limited, so buy yours today at the Library.  Ticket sales end Friday, February 2nd.

How to Create a Blog
Monday, February 12 at 7:00 pm

Are you interested in creating your own blog but don't know how or where to begin? On Monday, February 12 at 7:00 pm John Cary, professor of Management at Marist College, will teach attendees how to get started using WordPress.

Attendees are asked to bring their own laptops. Please call the Library at 845-236-7272 if you need to reserve one of the Library's laptops, as a limited number are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Adult Coloring
Wednesday, February 21 at 11:00 am

Adult coloring is back!  Step back in time with a classic film and movie poster-themed coloring pages.  Can you guess the movie? Snacks and materials provided.

Book Club
Wednesday, February 28 at 7:00 pm

All are welcome to join the Book Club!  On Wednesday, February 28,  The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane  by Lisa See will be discussed. 

Copies have been ordered and will be available at the circulation desk for check-out for those who may wish to join us in the Library community room at 7:00 pm.

COMING IN MARCH- 'Pi Day' Pie Baking Contest!
Wednesday, March 14, 6:00 pm

The Library will be celebrating "Pi Day, or "π Day" (March 14th or 3.14) with a pie making contest!  

The winner receives bragging rights for having baked the best pie in Marlborough, and a gift certificate to a local business!   The runner up and third place will also receive prizes.  Pies will be judged by a group of three mystery judges .

Award Presentation Ceremony
The winner will be announced in an award presentation ceremony, March 14th at 6 pm, where the leftover pie will be available for tasting (while the pie lasts! First come, first served!)

Genealogy Class and Workshop Rescheduled!
Tuedsay, January 30, 6 & 7:00 pm

Walk-ins are welcome for the class at 6:00 pm, and if you bring your own laptop, walk-ins are also welcome for the workshop at 7:00 pm.

Library is closed on Monday, Febru ary 19 
for Presidents Day.
