Join us for an introductory class that will explain the first steps in conducting your own research and the basics of using AncestryLibrary.com, which is available for free in the Library. No registration required, walk-ins welcome.

Genealogy Workshop
Tuesday, January 16 at 7:00 pm

Registered patrons can join us for a hands-on workshop, consisting of a specially set up research space with laptops and other local history materials. Patrons will explore databases and web sites like Ancestrylibrary.com, FamilySearch.org and more.  

Library staff will be on hand to help with any questions or problems, as well as one of our local history researchers to assist with anyone interested in documents, photos, maps, books and more found in our local history collection.

Bring your library card and your family research as far back as you know (even if it's just your grandparents) and we will help you expand your search.  If you will bring your own laptop, feel free to join us without registering.

**If you would like to reserve one of our six available laptops for the workshop, registration is required.   Register here for the workshop.
Book Club
Wednesday, January 31 at 7:00 pm

All are welcome to join the Book Club!  On Wednesday, January 31st,  The Light in the Ruins  by Chris Bohjalian will be discussed. 

Copies have been ordered and will be available at the circulation desk for check-out for those who may wish to join us in the Library community room at 7:00 pm.

Need to return an item, but can't make it to the Library during our regular business hours?  Don't forget our 24-hour book drop!  Located to the right side of our main entrance, patrons may return items here at any time of day.

COMING IN FEBRUARY- Valentine Mini Golf Fundraiser! Tickets now on sale!
Friday, February, 9 from 6-8:00pm

Looking for something fun for the kids this Valentines?  Play Mini-Golf IN the Marlboro Library!

This fundraising event hosted by the Friends of the Marlboro Library will take place on Friday, February 9th from 6-8:00pm (snow date, February 10th, 6-8:00pm).

The Valentine-themed golf course is fun for young and old!  Valentine themed kids crafts, activities and refreshments will be available.  Tickets are $5 per person, per round, and all proceeds to benefit the Library.  Come at any time after 6:00 pm for refreshments and crafts before your tee time!

Busy that day? Then consider buying tickets that will be donated to another family.  Tickets are limited, so buy yours today at the Library.

Last Call! Friends Holiday Book Sale

The Friends of the Library are holding a holiday book sale in the center of the Library from now until January 5!  

The Friends volunteers handpicked and bundled similar books that would make great gifts for any avid reader. 

All bundles are $5 each!  Stop by and support the Library today!
