Stay the Course: Another Great Annual Summit
This year's Summit -- held on October 2nd -- was an another amazing success! Our thanks to all who participated. In Dr. Greene's morning keynote, we were reminded of the perils of using power to solve problems and of the imperative to stay the course toward collaboration and teaching our kids the skills that define the better side of human nature. The afternoon Parents' Panel keynote was both touching and inspiring. In the afternoon Educators session, participants heard from leaders from school systems in Ontario, Indiana, Wisconsin, and New York City and how they've implemented the Collaborative & Proactive Solutions model in their settings. And the feedback that we've received on the breakout sessions suggest that they were informative, helpful, and energizing. If you missed it, we'll have streaming video posted on our website soon. #I'm in Contest
Compassionate Communities
Our 2017 Portland Summit attendees were the first to hear about our new contest - "I'm in with Compassionate Communities!" Here's what to do:
1. Order your Compassionate Communities swag here to tell the world that you commit to upholding the values that Compassionate Communities represents.
2. Display your swag and take a video showing your display and proclaiming, "I'm in."
3. Email your video to us (please note that, by sending us your video, you're granting your permission to stream it on our website or on social media). We'll pick the top three entries based on creativity and enthusiasm! The deadline for submitting videos is November 15, 2017.
Winners will receive an autographed copy of one of Dr. Greene's books of their choice!
