Letter from the BOD President:
|
All members and friends,
Now that Memorial Day weekend has come and gone, it is the unofficial kickoff to the Summer of 2017! Although this is vacation time for many, the REAA is going into our busy season with a variety of activities taking place this summer.
The River's Edge Chorale is busy rehearing for our annual Artist Appreciation Concert on June 14. We will be honoring Kathleen McKenzie as our 2017 award recipient. Registrations for our 29th annual Summer Drama Workshop program are due by June 16. The River's Edge Players have also begun rehearsals for "Disney's The Little Mermaid". The show will take place August 11, 12, and 13. Tickets will go on sale shortly. We will also be running Fun Family Nights in Marlborough in the month of August.
If you are a visual artist, we are currently accepting registrations for our last Art in the Hall event of the season. This is a great way for local artists, young and old, to showcase their artwork at Hudson Town Hall.
For more information on these events and more, please read on...
If you have any questions, please drop us an e-mail at: bod@upwitharts.org.
Regards,
Lisa Schliker
