CONCERTS IN THE PLAZA

Cuesta Ridge Entering the seventh week of this fabulous summer concert series, Concerts in the Plaza is living up to its reputation as the premiere concert series on the Central Coast.  This week we celebrate the sights and sounds of Cuesta Ridge sponsored by Mission Community Bank.  Born in the sweet confines of the Santa Lucia mountains this bluegrass injected, Americana - rock conglomerate is a local favorite.  Entertainment is from 5:30 - 7:30 pm, with bar service beginning at 5:00 pm.

This season has attracted some of the largest crowds in Downtown San Luis Obispo, so take advantage of this opportunity to invite and  promote your business by staying open during this event.

DOWNTOWN BROWN TOSSES OUT FIRST PITCH

Bear with Rouge Riders
Last week Downtown Brown assisted in hosting the "Rogue Riders" from Rand McNally and USA Today "Best of the Road" contest by showing them around town and letting others know that San Luis Obispo is one of the "Friendliest Towns in North America".  Jennifer Jordan and Robert Schatz attended Concerts in the Plaza and teamed up with Downtown Brown to toss out the first pitch at a recent SLO Blues game.  This was an amazing opportunity that will assist in gaining more national exposure and bringing visitors to Downtown San Luis Obispo.

Joel McCainJoel McClain was born in Springfield, Oregon and has lived in many parts of the Western United States. During his stay in San Diego, Joel developed a strong interest in Art while attending High Tech High which has inspired him to continue his interest in Art. In 2006, his family moved to Oceano where he attended Arroyo Grande High School, where he steadily developed his interest in Art by competing in state-wide competitions in Computer Animation.
