Join us for our January Holiday Lunch where we will celebrate Rosh Chodesh, the new month on the Hebrew calendar, and the birthdays of those community members 65 and older who were born in the month of January.
 This month we will welcome special guest David Lee, who will accompany Don Lerman on Saxophone for a collection of duets.
RSVPs are requested for this event. Cost for this lunch is $5 with RSVP and $6 for walk in guests.

Student Advocacy for Israel and Peace (Session 1)

Student Advocacy for Israel and Peace is a project of the Community Relations Committee of the Jewish Federation of St. Joseph Valley. The purpose of this project is to provide college bound students with the tools they need to encourage civil dialogue, ask the right questions and face the challenges of anti-Semitism and anti-Israel attitudes on college campuses.

The three sessions will encourage open discussion and active participation. Lunch and snacks will be provided. All sessions will take place at the Jewish Federation of St. Joseph Valley on Sundays from 1:00-3:00 PM

Session 1- Challenges and Strategies for Israel Advocacy on Campus. Conducted by Raz Revah, Shlicha to the Jewish Federation.

Session 2- February 22nd 2015 at 1:00: A Overview and Debate of the Arab-Israeli Conflict Conducted by Dr. Alan Dowty, Professor Emeritus of Political Science at the University of Notre Dame.

Session 3- March 15th, 2015 at 1:00: Clashes on Campus: Countering Attacks on Israel's Legitimacy on the American College Campus. Conducted by Noam Gilboord, Director of Community Strategy, Israel Action Network (IAN).
