Back-to-School BBQ!
August 10th @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
RCE / South Campus Parking Lot
(additional parking on North Campus)
All RCS families are invited to kick off the new school year at our annual Back-to-School BBQ!

There will be free food, activities for the kids, and you can pick up complimentary back-to-school essentials such as the RCS calendar, bumper stickers, and more!

Meet Mrs. Costanzo, RCS' New Business Manager
A Redwood Christian Schools alumnus is now serving as the head of business and operations at RCS. Meghan Costanzo (class of 2011) was appointed by the Redwood Christian Schools Board of Directors to fill the post of Business Manager after the retirement of Ed Hubbard at the end of the last academic year. Hubbard had served as the RCS Business Manager for the past 40 years.

“He leaves big shoes to fill,” shares Costanzo. She spent a full year in Hubbard’s tutelage, working side by side with him to learn how business is managed at RCS. Using the knowledge he passed along and her prior experience in healthcare operations, she shares... We welcome our new middle school (including ALL incoming 6th grade students) and new high school students to RCS for the 2018-19 school year! We are so glad you are joining us.
On August 10th, come learn more about the year ahead and start meeting some new friends. You will also recieve your locker combination, tour the campus, meet your teachers, and start your story at RCS!

21st Century iPad Communication Meeting
(Choose ONE session, no RSVP needed)
All high school students must attend ONE of Mr. Hearne's iPad training seminars before receiving an iPad (even if you did this last year). Plan to fill out your iPad contract and pay for your insurance at this event. Remember, your iPad is an "Educational Tool not your own Personal Entertainment Device." Welcome to the 21st Century Classroom!
MSHS Parent-Teacher Night

For parents of 6th through 12th grade students,

Ever wish you were back in middle school or high school? Here is your chance to live in your child's shoes for an hour, meet his or her teachers, and learn more about the school year as you travel through all the periods of the school day. You will also receive copies of the class syllabus in each class.

For parents of TK through 5th grade students,

We look forward to seeing you in the Worship Center. Mr. Huemoeller, elementary teachers, and staff will provide essential information to kickoff the new school year! From there, parents will go to their student's classroom(s) for class-specific information from the teacher(s).
For parents of 6th through 12th grade students
Booster Club & Athletics Kickoff
August 16th @ 6:00 pm
Where: MSHS Campus, Multipurpose Room
Who: All families of (potential) 2018-19 Middle School and High School Athletes
What: An informational meeting about participation in middle school and high school athletics for 2018-19

Please note: ALL RCS athletes (elementary through high school) must have an Athletics Physical on file before they can participate. Please have your doctor complete this form before tryouts begin!
Student Parking Sign Ups
First Come, First Served
Students who desire to drive to school need to email Mrs. Kidwell by August 8th and stop by the school office to pay for the parking pass ($20), fill out the parking form (parent signature required), and have a space assigned. 
There is limited student parking available. Seniors will be given priority and may come in on August 6th and 7th to get their parking space assigned. Juniors and Sophomores may come in August 8th-10th. 
Again this year, there will be a single row of parking directly in front of rooms 1-3 and a row of double parking against the fence opposite rooms 1-3.
