Join us in welcoming the newest addition to our team, Sandy Walker. She will act as our lead Ombudsmen, advocating on behalf of the elderly in long term care facilities.

You cannot grow a garden without the right tools, resources, conditions, and work ethic. Your economy is the same way.

Region 10 is hosting its first Economic Gardening Summit on July 9th from 9 am - 5 pm at the Holiday Inn in Montrose. Any individual or organization who is actively involved in economic development is encouraged to attend. During this event, key speakers from prominent agencies -- DOLA, USDA, and OEDIT -- will present useful information about resources available for economic development.

Special thanks to Alpine Bank for sponsoring

Laurie Abrahamson has successfully managed Montrose Embroidery for nine years. Her business was ready to expand, but Laurie struggled to finance the growth. Learn how Region 10 was able to assist Laurie in expanding her business.

Rhona Keckler, Region 10's Enterprise Zone Coordinator, is officially retiring after many years of dedicated service to our region.

Rhona's work is responsible for millions of dollars in tax benefits for business and nonprofits -- all of which have help spur on economic development in our own backyard. She was even commended by Governor Hickenlooper.

Please join us in wishing Rhona a fond farewell and thank her for everything she has done for economic development in our region.

Region was recently honored with a Culture of Commitment Sector Partnership Award at the Sector Summit in Denver May 19-21. "This award goes to a region whose team of community partners and civic entrepreneurs really understand the value of working together," presenters said.
