Make a splash

Texas Heat Awareness Day is May 27, a reminder it's time to stock up on bottled water before summer heats up.

Cool water, combined with air-conditioning and a safe place to rest, is a real lifesaver for homeless men and women when temperatures approach the century mark.

Our guests drink nearly 10,000 bottles of water each summer, and you can help satisfy their Texas-sized thirst.

Donate bottled water by the case. It's fun and easy when you start a bottled water drive in your place of work, church or neighborhood.

Of course, we want you to take care of yourself, too.

What would you give?

Some people would give anything to be home for Mother's Day.

We know many.

The love that binds families together just makes holidays like Mother's Day tougher for homeless men and women.

That's why we're helping guests of the Day Resource Center reconnect with their families this month using Mother's Day cards we'll provide and mail.

It's the next best thing to being home, and you can help.

Little things like our Mother's Day and holiday card mailings are possible only because you give.

Please give in honor of your mother today. Only you can make it possible for a homeless man or woman to send their love home for Mother's Day.
