Important Dates and Deadlines
  • Payment deadline for Spring classes: January 10
    You must pay for all classes you have registered for by 2:29 p.m. January 10, or you will be dropped from all Spring classes.
  • Transfer application deadlines extended until January 8 for UC Santa Cruz, UC Riverside, and UC Merced (some majors and programs may not be available.)
  • Fall final grades available online starting January 5
  • Spring Aviation classes start January 11
  • ASGC book scholarship applications due January 18
  • Spring Semester starts January 29
  • FAFSA applications now open for the 2018-2019 academic year
  • California Dream Act application now open for the 2018-2019 academic year
  • Spring 2018 parking permits are now on sale.

New Classes For Spring 2018 

AMT 225 - Introduction to Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Drone Technology) 3 Units 
Lear:  How to Use Autopilot and Stability Positioning Systems,  Uncommon & Common Mistakes;  3D Data;  Virtual Videos,  Operation Adjustments  

AMT 226: UAS Flight Operations and Pilot Certification: 3 Units 
This course will teach you the basic flight operations for both fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft, as well as prepare you to take the FAA pilot certification exam.  

AMT 227: UAS Aerial Photography and Videography: 3 Units 
This course is designed to provide you with the skills to capture and analyze photos and videos from drones. Emphasis is placed on cameras and image software, available applications, and techniques for analyzing imagery.  

HTM 101 Intro to Hospitality and Tourism Management 
An introduction to the careers in the field of hospitality and tourism management, including a survey of trends and developments in the industry . An overview of hospitality, tourism, lodging operations, foodservice establishments and management.

HTM 702 (noncredit): Excellence in Guest Services
This course focuses on quality customer service in a hospitality business. Includes the benefit of high quality customer service, skills to engage the guest and effective strategies for handling dissatisfied customers. This course will prepare students to take the Certified Guest Service Professional (GSP) exam.
