Confirmation is all about a young person claiming their faith as their own. This year we will be offering confirmation classes to current 6th graders on Sundays, September 11th through October 9th, from noon until 2:00pm with a retreat October 14-15. Confirmation Sunday will be October 23rd.

Christmas Shoeboxes
Once again this year, we will be participating with UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) to prepare and fill Christmas shoeboxes for impoverished children around the globe. This is a great way to share the love of Christ with a child. We will begin distributing the boxes this Sunday, August 28th, at the Missions Corner. Completed boxes need to be returned by September 30th to allow for shipping by Christmas.

Small Groups Kickoff
Small groups are where we develop relationships with others, grow in our walk with Christ, and find our sense of community. We will be kicking off our Fall small groups on Wednesday, Sept.7th, and Sunday, Sept.11th. Many of our existing groups will be beginning new studies, and we also have several new groups beginning. Also, in addition to our Sunday and Wednesday groups, there are other groups that meet on other days and in other locations. Join a small group and CONNECT!

First Sunday Men
Our Due to the Labor Day weekend, there will be no first Sunday men's meeting this week. We will resume next month.
