Here are some places we know
Living Proof is helping to make a difference.

St. Paul, MN: The Minnesota Coalition Against Sexual Assault (MNCASA) made Living Proof the focus of its summer book club. Advocates from around the state met six times to hone their stories and prepare to speak with legislators about advancing policies that stop sexual violence.

Anchorage, AK: The Partners in Policymaking program at the University of Alaska invited author John Capecci to conduct a day-long Living Proof Advocacy workshop. Participants from more than 25 state agencies focusing on developmental disabilities, mental health and substance abuse learned how to find and focus their stories.

New York City, NY: A cystic fibrosis awareness advocate worked with author Tim Cage days before a CBS interview to practice linking her personal story to the key messages of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's upcoming Great Strides Walk to raise funds for research and drug development.

River Grove, IL: Triton College is using Living Proof as the text for a Spring 2015 public speaking course. Triton joins Rutgers, Evergreen State, Eastern Michigan and other colleges and universities who are using Living Proof to prepare students in political science, public health and performance studies to become articulate advocates.

San Francisco, CA: Family House, a home away from home for families of children with cancer or other life-threatening diseases, gave copies of Living Proof to staff and board, and provided a Living Proof Advocacy workshop to help them tell their personal stories of compassion and support.
