Senior Driving

As a senior citizen was driving down the interstate, his cell phone rang.

Answering, he heard his wife's voice urgently warning him, "Vernon, I just heard on the news that there's a car going the wrong way on I-95. Please be careful!"

"Heck," said Vernon, "It's not just one car. It's hundreds of them!"

angelsAngels Who Soar: Celebrating Our Hardworking Employees

We are so proud of our wonderful, hard-working employees who go beyond the call of duty. Below is why our Angels are so special...

Aline D. celebrated her 7th anniversary with Visiting Angels in March. For the past 2 years, she's been working with one particular client. In these 2 years, she's been consistently on time and has had infrequent call-outs. Clients admire her focus and dependability; she does what is she is asked and more! She has shown loyalty and dedication with her many years of service at Visiting Angels.

Jeilyn F. has only been working for Visiting Angels less than a year, but has proven herself to be kind-spirited, driven, and hardworking. She has shown flexibility with her schedule in order to meet the needs of our client for whom she is providing care. She has gone above and beyond to make sure he is comfortable and content. Our client speaks highly of Jeilyn and that's no doubt due to her positive attitude and work ethic.

We are grateful for you and thank you for your hard work, Aline and Jeilyn!

Our office mascot, Max, got in on the celebration, too. He gave Judy a super-cute "mini-Maxie" Bichon Frise stuffed animal! Judy says, "thanks for making my birthday special!"

AboutOurCareAbout Our Care

Visiting Angels is a New Jersey-licensed, non-medical home care company committed to going beyond the "industry standard" to provide an exceptional level of security, comfort and peace of mind to our clients and their families. Our "Angels", all certified home health professionals , are ready to provide assistance with the activities of daily living to seniors, the disabled, those recovering from surgery, and to those who are simply frail. Our services include tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and shopping, to more personal tasks such as hygiene assistance, bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Visiting Angels ' in-home care helps make it possible for seniors and other adults to continue living at home safely. We understand how challenging the home care selection process can be. We're experienced in working with families, with loved ones resistant to receiving care, and with third-parties payors (such as insurance companies and the US Dept. of Veterans Affairs).

Visiting Angels' services help families spend more mutually-rewarding and meaningful time with their loved ones and also helps provide comfort and peace of mind to those who face the challenges of long-distance caregiving.
