SDWP LogoSan Diego Works
Funding job training programs since 1974.
I was recently in Seattle to join many of our leading workforce colleagues at the U.S. Conference of Mayor's Workforce Development Committee. Serving on the committee provides me with the opportunity to share our successes and challenges while bringing back invaluable information on innovative services and approaches to building our workforce from around the country.  While there are many uncertainties with sequestration and other challenges, I am very confident in, and proud of, the work of SDWP in our region.  There is much work ahead, but with the support of our many funded partners and employers, we are making great strides to meet the needs of our job seekers.
