Spread the Love February 8th-12th by helping support Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS) and making Valentine's Day Cards for Riley Hospital.
Many students in the area have benefited by LLS. They help with research to cure blood cancers and support families financially when they are dealing with their child's sickness. Blood cancer research is a gateway to helping many patients. Roman Cordell (5th grade) is one of Leukemia Lymphoma Society's Honored Heroes this year. He battled Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) and has been in remission for many years.
Other former and current White Lick students have benefited from the help of Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Help by Spreading the Love this Valentine's and bring in money on February 8th-10th in exchange for candy for you or your special someone. This same week we will be making Valentine's Day cards for the children at Riley Hospital to let them know that we care about them and wish them a fast recovery.

Social Health Program for 4th & 5th Grade
Parents of 4th and 5th Grade Students - Each 4th and 5th grade student will participate in a Social Health Program during the month of March.  This program outlines the physical and emotional changes that occur during puberty.  Students will be shown appropriate films for their age group followed by a question and answer period.  Parents are invited to preview these films at the Administration Office located at 310 Stadium Drive (Please enter through Door #7 on the back side of the building) on Tuesday, February 16 at 6:30 pm.  The preview will be facilitated by Assistant Superintendent Kat Jessup and Health Services Supervisor Melissa Smith.  If you have questions about the content of these films, please contact your child's school nurse.
