Happy Friday! We wrapped up the first round of ISTEP+ this week with the exception of some make-up testing. We are really proud of the effort our students put forth this week. We really appreciate your help in making sure your child was at school ready to do their personal best. Our next round of ISTEP will occur April 18 - May 6. So, if you can avoid making appointments during that period of time, we would greatly appreciate it. Since it is the computerized multiple choice test, students will be testing at different times during the school day during that testing window.

Support Gleaners Food Bank  March 7th-11th

- Gleaners Food Bank is the single most important source of food for most hunger relief agencies in central Indiana.

- Gleaners serves over 350 hunger relief agencies in 21 central and southeastern Indiana counties.

- In Gleaners' service area, there are over 319,450 who are food insecure, over 103,800 of them are children under 18.

- On a yearly basis, 160,900 different people rely on food through the Gleaners network, over half of these are children and the elderly.

- Since 1980, Gleaners has distributed over 320 million meals.

Please bring in non-perishable food items including:

canned meat, spices, hearty soups

Bulletin Board - Calling all White Lick Elementary CUB SCOUTS and GIRL SCOUTS!!!! We would love for you to send pictures of your student to be on display on the main lobby bulletin board!  We want to showcase the community involvement our students have outside of school.  Let us see all the fun things you and your Troop do in Scouts. Previously a board was done to display the awesome work our students do with the 4-H programs.
