Happy Friday the 13th!

Classroom Parties: I want to thank all of the parents who were able to volunteer today for our fall parties. Students had a lot of fun. Thank you for planning a fun-filled party with great games and crafts. I will be meeting with our leadership team to gather feedback regarding the classroom party. We will discuss if the morning party time worked well. If not, we will make changes as we begin the planning process for our Valentine's Day parties in February. We appreciate your patience as we look at different options and determine what is best for the students.

Veteran's Day Program: I would like to congratulate our fifth graders for an amazing Veteran's Day program this week. They all worked hard preparing for the show and did a great job. It was a wonderful way to honor all of our veterans for their service. I also would like to thank Mrs. Kirkeiner for her work in preparing the students. In addition, I would like to thank all of the parent volunteers who also assisted with the show.

Lost and Found: Just a friendly reminder, please be sure to place your child's name on their coat, hat, gloves, and lunch box. That is very helpful when items show up in our lost and found. We appreciate your help with this.

General Meeting - Our next PTO meeting will be Tuesday, December 8th at 6:30pm.

 

Box Tops for Education - Thank you to all of the parents who spent time at home counting and trimming Box Tops and to all those who sent in Box Tops for the recent contest! We collected a total of 16,053 Box Tops which will earn $1,650.30 for White Lick!!!  Start preparing now for our Spring contest.  The holidays are just around the corner and it's a great time to be on the lookout for Box Tops as you do your holiday shopping! Congratulations to the following classrooms for collecting the most Box Tops in their grade levels! These classrooms all enjoyed celebrating with a pajama party and a snack! 

Fall Parties - Classroom Fall Parties were lots of fun this morning! HUGE thanks to all the parents that helped plan and attend the parties! The students enjoy these special parties and they couldn't happen without you! Special thanks to Valerie Kinman and LeeAnn Fite for coordinating the volunteers and making sure the parties happen!

 

DINE TO DONATE -Take advantage of not cooking the night before Thanksgiving (Wednesday, November 25) and plan to dine at So Italian that night! Flyers will be sent home that week. Also, the last Bob Evan's Dine to Donate of 2015 will be Wednesday, December 9. What a great way to get out of dishes and support PTO fundraising efforts!

 

LABELS FOR EDUCATION - From soup, beverages and snacks - your kitchen's probably full of eligible Labels for Education items. Start saving and help earn free stuff for White Lick! November is double sauce/beverage caps! Make sure to tell friends and family you see over the upcoming holiday weekend and send in any labels or caps with your student to count for double points! Even if not noted as Label for Education product, save the entire UPC on Bic, Campbell's, Pace, Pepperidge Farm (including Goldfish), SpaghettiO's, Swanson, V8 (including Splash & Fusion).
