"Pentecost"

At the first Pentecost the people were so filled with hopes and dreams for the future they couldn't keep it to themselves. Today the Holy Spirit works in us to help us break down dividers between people and fills our heart with the certainty that love conquers all things.
First Church Ministries Highlights

During worship we express our appreciation for the wide variety of critical ministries to which our friends and members give their gifts of time and energy as an offering to God. There are many ways we can give to God and serve our neighbors. Maybe you will be inspired!
Mortgage Principal Reduction

Consider making a one-time donation (or start a monthly donation) toward the reduction of our mortgage loan during the month of June. All receipts will be applied directly to the loan balance of $1.35 million. You can send a check to the church with "Principal Reduction" in the memo line, put it in the offering tray Sunday, or click the Donate Now button on the FUMC homepage to set up an electronic payment. On Sunday, June 4, we received $1,800 toward this goal. Thank you! Every size contribution matters!
It's Time to DO SOMETHING!

This summer we have opportunity for Direct Involvement. The STARS program (Summer Teaching to Advance Reading Success) prepares pre-kindergarten and kindergarten-ready students for success in school. Volunteer to help young children develop reading, math and social skills.
