Straight Talk on Redistricting

Redistricting - what is it? Every ten years, based on the Census results, every level of government that has elected representatives redraws the boundaries for each electoral/political district.

Redistricting determines who you will be voting for to represented you in Congress, in the state legislature, on city council, school district, and every other level of government that has elected representatives. It is very important to be involved in this process or at least be aware of what is taking place. These elected representatives are the ones who establish the laws and policies that affect your business and every other aspect of your life - taxes, your tax dollars returning to you in services, and so much more.
