Partner dancing is a fun way to exercise, a social activity and a special opportunity to experience nostalgia or something new!

Help Teens in Motion collect canned pasta for the Buddy Pack program. Box available at our office at City Hall, 320 Broadway, during business hours, until March 2.

What else is going on?
  • Trivia Night to benefit Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum, starting at 7 p.m. Feb. 24 at Finn’s Food & Spirits, 214 N. Main St. This year’s trivia event will help support the restoration of the Pilaster House/Grant’s Drugstore. Trivia teams consist of up to 10 players per and compete in 10 different categories with 10 questions each. To register your team, donate items to the silent auction or sponsor a round of trivia for $100, contact Melissa at 573-221-9010 ext. 404.
  • The Missouri Department of Conservation free workshop on basics of fly tying, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., March 3, at Mark Twain Lake near Perry. Pre-registration required here.

  • Chocolate Extravaganza March 10 in downtown Hannibal. Purchase a passport to receive different treats from most downtown businesses.
  • BounceFest II 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 10 at Admiral Coontz Recreation Center. Get the kids out of the house and enjoy some bouncing fun with food from Kupcakes Bakery and Mark Twain Dinette. Admission is $5 per person.
  • Shamrock Shuffle 5K Run/Walk 8 a.m. March 17, sponsored by Hannibal YMCA, starting at B and B Theater. Registration form here.
  • Hannibal Area Chamber of Commerce Business Expo 4-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 20 at Hannibal Nutrition Center.

Help us honor our veterans!
There are more than 5,000 names on the war memorial in Central Park. We have raised about $7,000 and just need about $3,000 more. We need help to restore the plaques and make it easier to read the names of soldiers from World War I and II. Print out this brochure to find out how you can help!
