Blog: Why BHO Came To Texas

On last Saturday, I was given a tour of the Texas border between El Paso and Juarez, Mexico.  This follows the visit by President Obama on May 10th in which he essentially made light of the border security problem, made a full-throated endorsement for amnesty (again) , laughed in the face of Texans and Americans concerned about the stoutness of our southern border, and then walked out of the state with $2,000,000 from an Austin fundrasier.

El Paso Border
Apostle Claver surveys the border "fence" between El Paso and Juarez. Beyond the visible levee is Mexico.

The condition on our Texas border is dire. It is shocking at how porous it is to the naked eye. Border patrol officers in El Paso are stretched out every half mile or so. But the fence is no higher than a high hurdle in some locations.

El Paso Border #2
Apostle Claver examines a pile of rubish left at a weak point of the Tex-Mex border by border crossers.

This is the same fence that President Obama has declared near completion and impregnable.

Take a look at the pictures of my border tour and keep in mind that Juarez is a virtual war zone.  Keep in mind that illegal immigrants flood across that border every single day, despite what reports may be coming out of the DHS.

El Paso Border
A huge gap in the border fence between El Paso and Juarez. If there is no border patorl officer present at this location? You can guess the rest.

The briefings that I received during my El Paso visit were incredibly illuminating.  Team RagingElephants.org will continue to explore the border problems, report to you on the accuracy of the information that is being fed to the electorate, and offer robust solutions to the border challenge.

El Paso Lunch
Apostle Claver and former Railroad Commissioner and current US Senate candidate Michael Williams (3rd from the top, right side of table) receive a briefing on the border situation at lunch with El Paso GOP Chairman, Tom Holmsley and SREC 29 Mary Holmsley (the closest right side of table), immigration activist Bobby Pena (top of the table, left side), and UTEP College Republican leader, Tommy Gabriel (closest, left side of table).

Please support our efforts at RagingElephants.org, as we work shoulder-to-shoulder with grassroots activists around Texas and America to see our country put right - in the image of the Founders and the constraints of our Texas and United States Constitutions.

We're asking that our supporters become recurring monthly donors.  Will you please sign up for $10, $20, $50 dollars or more per month by clicking the link? It may be called a "micro" donation. But it has a powerful impact in support of our projects.  Countering the destructive influence and efforts of the Left is not free!
