Greetings!

Why are we working so hard to get Ernestina sailing again?  Of course there's the incomparable experience of sailing a ship like Ernestina and the opportunity for incredible learning experiences.

These are important but the most important reason is that Ernestina, a wooden ship, has to sail to survive.  This was best described by the closing comments of shipwright Leon Poindexter's recent report.  Please take the time to read these comments and then contact us and let us know how you can help Ernestina.
