TxDMV: Top 3 Reasons for License Application Delays
This March the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) launched
eLICENSING, a new online self-service hub that replaces the old paper-based system for processing license applications and renewals. Since then, TxDMV has identified some common items that can cause delays in the approval of applications. In a

NIADA Praises Passage of Bill to Make CFPB Accountable
The U.S. House of Representatives took a major step toward creating more opportunity and accountability in the nation's financial markets Thursday when it passed the Financial CHOICE Act of 2017 by a 233-186 vote. The bill, introduced by House Financial Services Committee chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas), would overhaul the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010 and make substantial reforms to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Falling Used-Vehicle Prices Fuel the Growth in Negative Equity
Falling used-vehicle prices are exacerbating the growing problem of negative equity on trade-ins, experts say. And it's not going to get better anytime soon. Negative-equity rates are on the rise, driven in part by what was until recently strong growth in subprime loans and lengthening loan terms, according to Black Book analyst Anil Goyal.
Hyundai Recalls Nearly 600K Vehicles for Two Problems

The first recall affects certain model year 2004-2008 Mazda RX-8 vehicles. Due to heat from the engine and the exhaust, the main fuel pump pipe can crack, increasing the risk of a fire. A total of 69,447 vehicles are affected by the first recall and there have been no reports of accidents or injuries related to the issue.
