Hungerthon 2017 Has Arrived!

The air is getting cooler, the leaves are turning, and turkey and cranberries are popping up in the grocery store. You know what that means? It's Hungerthon time again!

For 32 years, the Hungerthon community-radio personalities, listeners, celebrities and WhyHunger supporters-have come together each Thanksgiving season to fight hunger and raise awareness through radio broadcasts, social media, events, online auctions, and donations. Together, we have reached millions of people and raised over $16.8 million dollars to invest in innovative community solutions that strike at the root causes of hunger.

All over the country, sustainable solutions to hunger are already underway! From partnering with local food producers to add fresh ingredients to school meals, to rebuilding small farms in the wake of natural disasters, to improving wages and working conditions for farmworkers, everyday people are pushing their communities beyond the simple act of feeding to tackle hunger, health and poverty in ways that last.

If you believe that fresh, nutritious food is a human right and that 41 million Americans struggling with hunger is too many, then join Hungerthon 2017!
