Believe it or not, the festival is only three months away. I'm looking forward to meeting you or seeing you again at our fabulous Wickford Art Festival, July 8th and 9th.
This is a friendly reminder that the deadline for the applications for the Wickford Art Festival is next Saturday, April 15th. Please make sure your package is in the mail by the deadline so we can process your application.
We want to assure you that there will be no commercial vendors on the festival route this year. We are committed to providing a fine art festival to the public and a wonderful experience for our artists.

We have a local family who would like to host you during festival weekend!
As you well know, participating in an art fair can be costly, but you're in luck. Wickford is renowned for its hospitality and the local art lovers are ready to welcome our festival artists into their homes. You can alleviate some of the costs of participating in the Wickford Art Festival as well as make new friends.
Sign up online and we will match you with a generous local resident who has volunteered to host a festival artist for the weekend of July 8 and 9.
Complete a short form telling us your schedule and whether you are traveling solo or with a partner.
Submit the form and we'll be in touch soon to share the contact information for your host family.
TIPS FOR CONSIDERATION
This is a first-come, first-served program. Last year we found a home for every artist who requested one.We want to do that again this year but we need your help.
Sign up quickly so we can get to work making a connection for you.
Each year Wickford Art Association holds a logo design contest and the winning design will appear on our commemorative festival apparel. We are seeking original one-color designs. No third party logos or copyrighted material may be used but you may use our WAA logo.
Enter as many times as your wish. Email artwork to Francie Christophersen at
[email protected] or mail your original artwork to the gallery (WAA, Attn. Francie, 36 Beach Street, North Kingstown, RI 02852).

RAFFLE OF FINE ART
Consider supporting our future college-bound artists with a
donation of your fine art which will be raffled during the 55th Wickford Art Festival. You will receive an acknowledgment of your donation for your taxes and the proceeds from the raffle will support the 2018 Scholarship Fund.
Our scholarship winners will be attending RISD, Brown and Rhode Island College in the Fall. Meet them at the festival where they will be exhibiting their artwork.
You can bring your piece to the gallery by May 1, 2017 or email the image for inclusion on the Scholarship Fund poster and on our social media.
