Greetings!
It's been a few months since I sent out a newsletter. I have an excuse - really. The proof is in this newsletter. As you may know, I have opened up a retail store in downtown Walla Walla featuring wines, not only from the Walla Walla Valley, but from the world!
In the mean time, we have been working diligently to get our new website launched and it is now up and running! The new website,Wild Walla Walla Wine Woman has the capability to hold our complete inventory. We have just begun to add all of the inventory, so please keep checking back. I still have over 40 wines from France, over 30 wines from Italy, over 20 Spanish wines, besides wines from various other countries (Australia, New Zealand, Greece to name a few), besides wines from California, Oregon and Washington to add. There are over 100 wines from the Walla Walla Valley I still need to add! Also the new inventory includes bubbles, dessert and fortified wines, such as ports and sherries, wine accessories and gourmet gift foods. Again, please keep checking back to keep up with our updated inventory.
Our customers keep telling us we have the largest selection of Bubbles in the Valley! We have to believe our customers as the customer is always right! Bubbly from Champagne, Cremant regions, Spain, Italy and fine domestic. Prices from $12 - $200! It's the W5 motto that Bubbles should not be saved for special events. Every day should be celebrated!
If you are a member of the wine club, the Smooch Society, you will now be able to manage your membership from the new site (if you are a member please contact me for instructions first). The site will also feature the W5 events and newsletter links. If all goes well with the new membership site, a new shipment will start going out next week. Three great wines from two leading Walla Walla winemakers (in fact they are married to each other!) for under $50! And all three wines are limited and not available at their wineries.
And speaking of W5 events. Since December every Wednesday evening has been "rockin'" at the W5! It's Wild Walla Walla Wine Woman Wednesday and from 5-7 we feature local winemakers and even held an evening of "Wines from Tuscany." Join us on Wednesday, February 23 as we will feature "Wines from Spain" with Mark Rowen from Noble Wines. He is a walking wine encyclopedia! Also on schedule will be an evening of French wines, Pinot Noir from Around the World, Cheese and Wine Pairing and many more.
