We've got great news  from the state  gymnastics  
meet, along with state entrants from
swimming/diving   and  wrestling  headed to competition this week. The Home & Business Show  is this weekend at the high school. Spring Break is right around the corner, now that it's starting to feel like spring around here. A couple of sure signs are the  Lakeside shirt s  handed out to students for showing Lakeside Pride, and the beginning of spring sport seasons  - you can sign up for notifications  to follow your favorite sport and never miss a game.

A new way to see Chisago Lakes School Lunch Menus! Nutrislice is here!  Experience a brand new way to access school lunch menus and nutritional information in a simple to use, digital format.  Accessible on the website and on your phone.  Students even have the option to rate the menu item, which will help us build menus that students want to eat.  We will be adding photos of the menu items as well, which will be visible on the website and your phone.

You can download the app at the Apple Store or the Android Store.  It is free!  Or, you can still access our menus from the Food Service page of the district website.

Lucky Hudson Opens (and Closes) at the PAC 

The middle school play, Lucky Hudson, ran for three days last week. There were multiple performances for middle schoolers and the public. Teacher Sally Lundholm led the group of students through the practices and preparations that culminated last week in their performance. You can see the program, and whole lot more pictures...


ILTR Month Wraps up at Lakeside and Taylors Falls

Breakfast and books participants at Taylors Falls Elementary this week. The festivities included breakfast, bookmarks, and a photo booth.

I Love to Read Month wrapped up at Taylors Falls Elementary and Lakeside this week. Highlights include: Superintendent Jennissen reading to students, and girls basketball players over at Lakeside reading to kids.  Local author Julie Penshorn(along with CLHS FFA members) came to read to TF and teach students the STOP calm down strategy.

Lakeside had their own version of Books and Bagels this week to top off another great month focusing on reading!

***LOOKING AHEAD: The Community Pool located at the high school will be closed from May 11, 2018 through August 10, 2018 for renovations.
